GreenStage Premieres Play Created by Shoreline Teens

One of the 2025 festival shows we’re most excited about is the North American premiere of Escape the Noise, an original play developed and performed by the young emerging playwright’s group at the Shoreline Theater Academy/Kidz Konnection in Clinton. Escape the Noise, which explores some of the challenges of being a teen in today’s digitally connected, social media-driven world, will premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in early August, and GreenStage is proud to give it its full American premiere on Saturday, August 16, at 6 p.m. during the festival. We’re conducting outreach to seniors and are planning to hold a post-show dialogue to reflect on how values, beliefs and behaviors have changed under technology’s influence, the merits of the changes, and their impact on humanity’s future. Shore Publishing’s weekly newspapers and Zip06 website published an excellent article about the show in their July 10 issues.
