For an all-volunteer organization, we've punched above our weight, staging five biennial seasons of community-building programming and drawing an aggregate audience of some 12,000 to downtown Guilford, Connecticut. Our 132 live performances and 54 hands-on classes and workshops have showcased depth, breadth and diversity in artistic genre as well as in culture, race, gender, age and ability.

Initially limited to a three-day weekend of music, dance and dramatic programs, the GreenStage Live Arts Festival has expanded to a week, introduced visual art, and commissioned and premiered 14 new works via our Artists' Awards grant program. In the meantime, we've added open mic nights, storytelling performances and other events throughout the year—collaborating with 19 community organizations. We're proud to call Guilford our center of gravity as we continue to present live arts experiences that invigorate the Shoreline and offer fresh perspectives on the world.
