The End of Empire is Semifinalist in National Playwrights Competition

Peter Sonenstein’s GreenStage Artists’ Award-winning play The End of Empire, which we premiered as a multimedia reading at the 2023 festival, was a semifinalist in this year’s O’Neill National Playwrights Conference. That put it in the top 20 percent of the 1,500 submissions received for development in the 2024 National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Connecticut.
