Tango Todo Terreno

Facilitated by Argentine native, tango instructor, and clinical social worker Gerardo Sorkin, this is an all-ages, audience-participatory introduction to the history, cultural context, and elements of tango, a social dance that originated in the 1880s along the border between Argentina and Uruguay. This isn’t a tango class, but rather a playful exploration of the core elements of the dance that foster personal grounding, balance, movement, physical expression, and connection with others.
