Connecticut Humanities Continues Strong Festival Support

The Connecticut Humanities Council is supporting the festival for the third consecutive season with a grant of $3,000.

CT Humanities’ support, guidance and advocacy have been invaluable in helping us develop and maintain the festival’s humanities programming, through which we present performing artists who illuminate the histories, cultures, stories, traditions, language, literature, music, dances and other forms of expression of a wide swath of humanity—and give audience members an opportunity to dialogue with the artists and deepen their knowledge, understanding and, hopefully, appreciation of the diverse fabric of human life.

We’re grateful to CT Humanities for its belief and investment in this core part of the festival’s mission and for expressing confidence that we continue to further the council’s important work of connecting people to the history, literature, and culture of Connecticut.
